Our story

Why we built Arravio

Debt collection in the United States runs on a dense and shifting body of rules — the FDCPA, Regulation F, the TCPA, and a patchwork of state overlays like California’s Rosenthal Act and the New York City rules. For the teams doing the work, staying compliant has meant memorising edge cases, maintaining letter libraries, and hoping nothing slipped through.

We started Arravio because that model puts compliance in the wrong place — after the message is written, as a review step that’s easy to rush and hard to audit. We thought the rules should live at the moment of drafting, shaping every letter, email, and SMS before a human ever reads it.

So we built a communication engine that assembles the relevant jurisdiction rules, vulnerability considerations, arrears stage, and goal into every draft — then hands it to an agent to review, edit, and send. Every step is written to an immutable audit log, so what your team did, and why, is always defensible.
